Sweet Oliver

B and I just got back from our annual trek to Durham, NC to see our good friends - the Gamels and the Mabreys. Their friendship is so special to us that we've made it a priority to get together at least once a year with them. Love you guys!

Needless to say, it was great to see M & E and B & B, but there is no question who the star of the weekend was. We LOVED spending time with our precious godson, Oliver! (Even if he woke us up one morning at 3 a.m.!)





One of the funniest things Oliver did all weekend - he walks around with this calculator like it's his cell phone! Reminds me of the E Trade baby commercials.

We have been lucky to get to spend time with so many out-of-town friends lately! Our friends, Grady and Sarah Powell, recently stopped by, and we got a chance to share some Chinese food and catch up on life together.

From The Bay State To The Sunshine State

Yes, Massachusetts is called the Bay State, although in the middle of the long, dark winter, I could've come up with a few other names for it.

It was so nice to escape from the cold and spend a week with our family - and Katy's boyfriend, Matt - in warm, sunny Florida. Just what the doctor (and doctor-to-be!) ordered.
